| 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful  Complete Podcasting Kit Out Of The Box, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Behringer USB Recording Package (Electronics) I went back and forth on this decision for some time.I even had to call Amazon to get the model # for the mixer, which is XENYX 1204USB I was pleased to find that this was a complete hardware kit except for a Mic stand & headphone (which are necessary) and a pop filter/shock mount (which are somewhat optionsl). Also included in the kit are Cables: 2 x 1/4 to RCA for the monitor out and for a source in 1 x 1/8 to RCA 1 x XLR Mic cable I picked up some HOSA cables from my local Best Buy 1/8 to RCA for inputs from pc/etc. The whole setup lost 1 star due to total lack of anything resembling decent software. The disk was a joke, it included Audacity from like 6 years ago and some other free trialware. Setup was documentation was fine and as this was my first board, I found it helpful enough to get up and running in a single night. The amazon page didn't allow me to contact the vendor so I called the manufacture and sent all the package for warranty. I am steal waitting for reply from them. So be carefull with this vendor and equipment. |
