First of all this makes a great backup because it is both a mixer and an amplifier. It works very well as an amp. I have two DJS4's connected to it and they sound great. When I connect this to my PV-1500 powered amp, it sounds great. The equalizer works extremely well. I hope this bad boy tells the test of time. I am driving two 300 watt 15" speakers with horns. The BM-224 has four speaker outputs so I have yet to run my other two cabinets for a total of four cabinets to see how it handles that situation. When I do I will update my review. The audio is clear and I have nothing negative to say about this unit except the effects are a little weak, but I don't need them anyway. I also ran another non-powered mixer's outputs into the RCA inputs on the BM-224 that worked perfectly. It has some weight to it and the controls work great. If this unit lasts a year it will have paid for itself many times over in fact I am going to buy another one as a back up just because its so inexpensive. There are no stereo inputs on this unit and the RCA jacks are outputs!Questions sent to seller: "Your ad says "2 stereo inputs with dual RCA for CD, MP3 Player". The only RCA jacks on the unit are for the Tape Rec OUTPUTS. How do I input stereo music into this unit? Answer: "There is 4 X 1/4" audio inputs. You can plug in then play your cd, mps players." Question: "This still does not answer my question. Where are the "2 stereo inputs with dual RCA for CD, MP3 Player" your ad says this unit has?" Sellers answer: "2 stereo inputs with dual RCA for CD, MP3 Player" is right off TAPE area, next to the GTD brand logo. That's what our technicians answer."
