This one is completed my recording studio. The controls are very solid. all the buttons are very responsive and I just feel that the product it very high quality. The sound it puts out(XLR connected to my BX5A Monitors) is the cleanest I have ever heard. This is a VERY NICE MIXER. If it has the amount of inputs that you need, then it has everything else you would need too! I love the individual EQ per track and built in compressor. 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful ![]() Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Behringer XENYX X1222USB Premium 16-Input 2/2-Bus Mixer with XENYX Mic Preamps & Compressors (Electronics) The first time I purchased this mixer there was a power supply issue which caused the mixer to lose power randomly. Luckily the return process was fairly simple; although, they do not do exchanges just returns. This lead me to purchase this mixer a 2nd time. This time the mixer appeared to be working normally. The problem came when the bar that was using this mixer had a overwhelming echo. At first I looked to the mixer and saw that all effects were off. Problem still persist. After trying different possible combinations to remove the echo including using special effects to remove echo on the computer playing music and trying to equalize the mics in ways to reduce echo nothing worked. We were about to spend an ample amount of money trying to have sound absorption padding installed throughout the entire place until I decided one day to use a back up mixer I have which is also a Behringer the xenyx 1204USB (which does not carry any built in fx). Magically.... the echo was gone. It seems... Didn't want to review it until I used it for at least a couple of months . Some Behringer products can be iffy, but if you get a good one, it's a good one. The preamps are clean, the build is robust and the output sound is very nice. I hook up a Centrance Mic Port Pro to the XLR output, and get great results at higher bit rates. The effects are adequate for the price, the compression is also better than I expected, although I try not to overuse either, because I use this for Voice Over.My only complaints are, the headphone output is a bit noisy and the low bit rate usb output, only 44k, 16 bit. But I don't use them, since I output with a Centrance Mic Port Pro or the TSR outputs to a more robust processing unit, a dbx 286s. Back in the old days, I'm talking the late 70's, this mixer would have cost way over a grand, without features and would not have sounded as clean, I know because I had an old Tascam, and used...
