Now, let's fast forward to modern times. i sing in churches normally that seat about 100 people, and the churches are rather small and space is at a premium. So that means a normal PA system is out of the question. It is a bit larger than I expected but thats not a bad thing at all. You could use it for a lot of things: Recording with Drum mics ( but remember theres only 5 xlr inputs, on stage performance, or anything else you could think of. There is a nice on/off switch which lower grade models do not have. There is a phantom power switch but I have turned it off while using condensor mics and they continued to work perfectly. Maybe the switch on mine is just broken. But all the xlr channels have phantom power and work amazingly. I love this. |
