It came earlier than I had expected, which was wonderful, and it operates better than I would have hoped! The sound quality and volume are excellent for this size and price range. The day after it came in, we were having our end of year slideshow and this very user friendly machine came with a cord that I figured out plugs straight into my Mac so that I could project the image onto a large screen, and have the music piping directly into the speaker from my computer-- it was FANTASTIC! To give potential buyers an idea of the volume level, we were playing the slideshow for a crowd of 120 in a 50x50 open room. I set the sound at half way up and was asked to turn it down after the music got to playing because it was a little too loud.
