Our band members are mostly wind instrument musicians and we use MP3 accompaniment during our performances. We have used a portable Fender system for years and it has worked well for us but it is very unwieldy to use and is about worn out. Also, the Fender system doesn't actually belong to us so sometimes it isn't available to use. That is what brought on this purchase. We were doing a gig and couldn't use the Fender. I was going to borrow another system from a friend but he was out of town and we couldn't ever get together to work out the details. I've wanted a system of my own for a long time, so I don't have to beg when the Fender isn't available. And since we practice at my house, it would be nice to have a system there for that purpose as well (we've been just using a guitar amp during practice).
