I must state categorically that this was the best sub $200 I spent in 2010. My God, this stuff blows me sky high, men it has the juciest, cleanest, punchiest power of any mini combo that I have even seen. It compares even to my Boss Speakers in output quality. I used it with a wireless microphone for presentations and the audio quality is the best I have ever heard my self. I hooked it up with my iPod and it's like i had a gig ready to go, I even hooked it up also with my musical instrument and the sound was even better. The sound quality is decent. The inputs for the microphone / quarter inch jack are nice. For a solo performance, you could easily run an iPod, Vocals & guitar through it at the same time. There aren't any built in effects but I simply added an old echo pedal in line & solved that. It's small, & light . Fits on a mic stand. Don't try to use the adapter to mount the boom out of the top of the unit - you'll be fighting with it all night long - bring an extra mic stand. I don't blow out my voice anymore. This is a great investment and I'm glad I made it. I'm going to buy another because it is so good. I run my mic into this unit, then use the out on the back of this unit to go to the PA. It works flawlessly. You can also plug in two other devices such as Acoustic guitar or an MPEG player. It can be used as a stand alone because it is very loud. I never have to worry about feedback anymore, this device can get very loud before it starts feeds back. It's tiny in size, light weight, has a three band EQ, has three channels and has phantom power. It's perfect. |
