It does (despite adjusting the high and mid-tones) sometimes produce a tinnier sound than I'd prefer, but I can't be sure as to whether this is due directly to the mixer or to the sound systems it has been connected to. The USB-to-computer recording feature is convenient, but for certain instruments it is difficult to get enough volume output. However, it is important to note that I am by no means a professional sound engineer, and have a lot to learn about how to optimize my equipment. All told, there is a lot of music I wouldn't have been able to produce without this mixer, and I certainly couldn't beat the price. It requires no drivers which is magical. Works perfect on Windows 7 64 bit. FX re great, easy to use, and the compressor knob is like magic.
